Close up of the famous Multnomah Falls Near Portland, OR. This was not an easy picture to convert to B/W. Everything turned out mid grey initially and I had to use a number of tools and techniques to create "layers" in order to create depth perception in an otherwise flat image. You are the judge if it was successful or not. .

Ever since my parents gave me my first camera during a family vacation, I have been hooked to photography. I was 6 or 7 years old and the camera was a little plastic Kodak Instamatic. I still have it. I love working with one of my vintage cameras. My cameras range in age from 85 to 45 years old and in formats up to to 4 x 5 inch. I also love working with alternative processes such as pinhole photography. Somebody said once about one of my pinhole Everglades images that the image Really conveys that Everglades look!. That was one of the nicest comments I have ever received. Is that not what photographers are going for? That moment that the subject, the viewer, and the photographer all become one?
