Facade of the Mayfair Hotel in Coconut Grove-Maimi, Florida. The design of this 1980ties hotel was inspired by the designs of the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi. Coconut Grove is a trendy upscale neighborhood of Miami, Florida. Captured on film with a vintage camera from 1938

Ever since my parents gave me my first camera during a family vacation, I have been hooked to photography. I was 6 or 7 years old and the camera was a little plastic Kodak Instamatic. I still have it. I love working with one of my vintage cameras. My cameras range in age from 85 to 45 years old and in formats up to to 4 x 5 inch. I also love working with alternative processes such as pinhole photography. Somebody said once about one of my pinhole Everglades images that the image Really conveys that Everglades look!. That was one of the nicest comments I have ever received. Is that not what photographers are going for? That moment that the subject, the viewer, and the photographer all become one?
