Description
Street with tree in Jacksonville, Florida. This image was done on film with a Pinhole Camera. No post processing other than some dust clean up adn dodging and burning what could have been done in an conventional darkroom. A pinhole camera is basically a fancy light tight cigar box, with a tiny hole on one side and a place to put the film on the opposite side. No lens, no viewfinder, no light meter, no electronics. Just a box. Like a Camera Obscura.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
